Who Still Work the Books.
Our Story
PM Bookkeeper was founded by people who lived inside AppFolio for years — former AppFolio employees, certified trainers, and experienced property managers who ran their own portfolios. We didn't come from general accounting. We came from property management.
We saw the same problem everywhere: PM companies spending nights and weekends on books instead of growing their portfolios. So we built a team that does one thing — property management bookkeeping in AppFolio — and does it exceptionally well.
Who's Working Your Books
Not outsourced. Not a generalist firm. Every person on your account has deep roots in property management.
Ex-AppFolio Employees
Former AppFolio team members who helped build and support the platform — they know exactly how it's supposed to work, and how to make it work for you.
Experienced Property Managers
People who managed their own portfolios — hundreds of units, real owners, real tenants. They understand what's at stake in your books because they've lived it.
AppFolio-Certified Bookkeepers
Trained specifically in AppFolio trust accounting, GL structure, and owner statement workflows — not adapted from generic accounting practices.
Our Mission
To give every property manager clean, accurate, on-time books — so they can focus on what they do best: managing properties and growing their portfolio.
What We Stand For
Accuracy First
Every transaction is coded correctly, every reconciliation balances to the penny. We don't cut corners on your books.
AppFolio Expertise
Our team lives in AppFolio every day. We know the platform inside and out — from GL coding to owner portals.
Transparency
No hidden fees, no black-box processes. You see everything we do, and we explain every line item.
Reliability
Owner statements by the 10th. Every month, on time, without exception.
Our Team
Our team is made up of certified bookkeepers, CPAs, and property management veterans. Every account manager has hands-on AppFolio experience and understands the unique demands of PM accounting — trust accounts, owner distributions, and everything in between.
